Epic Personnel Partners is actively hiring a Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in Windsor, CT.

Pay Rate: $17–$30/hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00AM–5:00PM | Full-Time

Duties: The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating specialized machining and assembly equipment to support the production of precision components for aerospace, defense, and industrial systems. This role works under direct supervision and is ideal for entry-level candidates seeking to build a career in advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup and operation of CNC lathes, mills, and EDM machines.
• Assemble basic mechanical and electromechanical components according to production specifications.
• Operate surface grinders, thread grinders, and basic hand tools under close supervision.
• Support gun drilling, tool grinding, and deep-hole machining operations as needed.
• Perform in-process inspections and follow quality protocols throughout the production cycle.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and follow work instructions closely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Trade School preferred.
• 1-6 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Familiarity with machine operation, soldering, or mechanical assembly techniques is a plus.
• Manual dexterity and basic math skills required.
• Ability to read simple assembly drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
• Must be able to work under close supervision in a production setting.
