Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Service Order Specialist to fill an opening with a Solar Company, a global leader in PV inverters and energy storage systems, located in Houston, TX.


Schedule:Full-time, Remote (USA), hours can vary, but we would like to align between 9 am -5 pm Central Time.

Travel: Possible 10%


Requirements for Service Order Specialist:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or administrative support.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel; advanced knowledge is required.
  • Experience with CRM management tools is essential; familiarity with SAP C4 Hana is a plus.
  • Ability to create processes and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the solar industry is preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter with a proactive attitude.
  • Prior experience in roles such as Order Management Specialist, Customer Service Coordinator, Sales Support Specialist, Order Processing Associate, Service Coordinator, Client Services Representative, or Administrative Support Specialist is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Service Order Specialist:

  • Provide direct customer support and facilitate communication between external customers and internal departments.
  • Manage CRM tools and provide administrative support for service operations.
  • Oversee the entire order process from quote to execution, ensuring timely distribution of parts and service orders.
  • Maintain accurate and updated price lists, collaborating with overseas teams as needed.
  • Work with the Supply Chain Management team to ensure the timely receipt of parts orders.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely billing to customers.
