Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position runs from August 13, 2025, through May 27, 2026, within a dynamic K-12 school environment located in La Porte, Indiana.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student requirements
- Provide consultation and counseling services to support student well-being and academic success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to recommend intervention strategies and resources
- Support crisis intervention and contribute to creating positive school climate initiatives
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license appropriate for Indiana
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, legal mandates, and educational psychology best practices
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and provide timely reports and documentation
