- Unit: Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVCU) – Cardiac Stepdown\n
- Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)\n
- Hours per Week: 36\n
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)\n
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule\n
- Start Date: November 6, 2025\n
- End Date: February 5, 2026\n
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,780 - $1,910\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma\n
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, or acute care nursing\n
- Current ACLS and NIHSS certifications (considered even if not active at time of application)\n
- Ability to float to Med/Surg or Emergency Room (ER) as needed\n
- Flexible schedule; no block scheduling available\n
- Strong clinical assessment, cardiac monitoring, and critical thinking skills\n
\n\nCardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac and vascular patients, including those with STEMI/NSTEMI, CHF, and post-cardiothoracic surgery\n
- Monitor and administer antiarrhythmic IV medications and manage noninvasive ventilation\n
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes\n
- Float to Med/Surg or ER to support CVCU/Med Surg holds as needed\n
- Accurately document patient care in a timely manner\n
