Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education required
- Experience working with pre-K or early childhood populations
- Understanding of mild to moderate disabilities and individualized instruction
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom
- Must complete fingerprinting for Pre-K classroom compliance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans suited to pre-K learners
- Assess students’ progress and adapt instruction to meet their unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and family members
- Implement IEPs and maintain thorough documentation on student progress
- Utilize creative strategies and activities to engage young children
- Cultivate a caring, responsive, and structured classroom atmosphere
- Participate in professional development and school community activities
