Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver expert nursing care in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing vital support to patients in multiple critical and acute care settings including ICU, Step Down Unit, Med Surg, Day Stay Unit, PACU, and ER. This role requires a dedicated RN skilled in Stepdown nursing, experienced in coordinating patient care plans and delegating responsibilities to ensure seamless service delivery while maintaining high standards of clinical competence.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid RN license with Stepdown nursing experience
- Proven ability to manage patient care in ICU, Step Down, and related units
- Strong leadership skills to supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary staff
- Competency in clinical procedures relevant to various acute care units
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- CNA representation knowledge preferred but not required
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop, coordinate, and provide comprehensive nursing care tailored to patient needs across multiple units
- Continuously maintain and update clinical competencies pertinent to diverse care settings
- Supervise and effectively delegate responsibilities to ancillary personnel according to their scope of practice
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
