Position Overview

Choice 1 Rental is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our office in Mount Dora. While this role includes greeting walk-in visitors, the majority of our business is conducted remotely — the Receptionist will spend most of their time managing a high volume of incoming calls, texts, and emails across multiple service lines.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly and professionally over the phone and in writing, can quickly identify the nature of an inquiry, and knows how to route or respond with confidence. Experience in hospitality environments such as hotels, Airbnb management, or similar guest-facing roles is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Communication & Inquiry Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming calls, texts, and emails — this is the core function of the role

  • Triage and route inquiries by type: RV rental, event housing, repair/maintenance, insurance-related, and general inquiries

  • Respond promptly and professionally across all channels with accurate information or appropriate routing

  • Greet and assist walk-in clients, partners, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner when applicable

Booking & Rental Management

  • Manage and complete bookings for RV rentals from initial inquiry through confirmation

  • Coordinate scheduling, availability checks, and documentation required to finalize rentals

  • Assist with client check-ins, onboarding, and rental agreements as needed

Administrative & Office Support

  • Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and manage office calendars

  • Maintain organized records, files, and office systems

  • Provide general information about Choice 1 Rental services including event housing and RV rentals

  • Support internal teams with administrative tasks as needed

  • Ensure the front office area remains clean, organized, and presentable

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Prior experience in hotel, Airbnb, call center, or similar high-volume customer-facing roles (required)

  • Excellent phone communication skills — comfortable managing multiple calls, texts, and emails simultaneously

  • Ability to quickly identify inquiry type and route appropriately without over-escalating

  • Strong written communication skills for professional text and email correspondence

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Professional demeanor and customer-first mindset

  • Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and scheduling/booking tools

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing bookings or reservations in a rental or hospitality environment

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred, not required)
