Maryland Weight Care is a medical clinic in Columbia, Maryland focused on providing comprehensive obesity medicine care in a caring, supportive environment. We are eagerly looking for a dietician to support our patients and the clinic’s mission. We prioritize excellent communication, understanding of evidence-based obesity medicine principles, and a passion for helping patients. Dietician will work alongside obesity medicine trained physician and nurse practitioner/physician associate and will play an integral role in helping patients achieve their health and weight goals. Experience in obesity medicine preferred but not required. Come join our team and have the opportunity to form meaningful relationships with patients while watching them get better. Qualifications

- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Registered Dietitian Eligible (RDE) with Verification Statement
- State licensure

Responsibilities

- \n
- Conduct patient assessments and collaborate with provider team
- Support and educate patients on healthy, sustainable nutrition plans designed for individual patient preferences and needs. Patients may or may not be taking anti-obesity medication.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adapt treatment plan as needed
- Respond in a timely manner to patient messages and questions
- Maintain accurate, up to date medical records
- Assist with marketing activities as time permits

- Part-time (0.6 FTE)
- Pay: $36-$40/hr
- Business hours three days a week
- No weekends/No major holidays!
- Hybrid in clinic 1 day a week and remote telehealth 2 days
