Sunbelt Staffing is collaborating with a respected nationwide home health agency to hire a compassionate and skilled Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in Midlothian, VA. Contract Details:

• Company: Sunbelt Staffing
• Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency
• Location: Midlothian, VA,and surrounding areas
• Position: Contract Home Health Registered Nurse
• Duration: 13 weeks, Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, occasional weekends, and on-call (typically one weekend per month)
• Compensation: Weekly pay, negotiable based on experience and territory budget
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k after 90 days, .48c mileage reimbursement visit to visit (150-250 miles per week expected)
• Productivity: 25-32 per week, up to 35 patients per week

Requirements:

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS
• Minimum 1 year of hospice home health experience required
• Proficiency in Homecare Homebase is required
• Oasis proficiency preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation
• Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer

Job Duties:

• Performcomprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in the home setting

• Developand implementindividualized hospice care plans focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life

• Administerpain management and palliative treatments in accordance with the hospice plan of care

• Providecompassionate education and emotional support to patients and families regarding end-of-life care and symptom management

• Maintainaccurate and timely documentation of patient status and communicateupdates with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure coordinated care
