We are looking for a Branch Office Manager to join our Home Health team at VNA. VNA has been serving the communities in Southeast Missouri for over 50 years. Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Prefer supplemental clerical courses offered by a business or vocational school. College level training and office management skills preferred.
Experience: Preferably a minimum of two years in an administrative assistant or clerical experience with emphasis on Health Care
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain the communication flow, clinical records, the clinical supply systems (billable and unbillable), and the office supply system.
- Assists Total Care Manager with checking on Safety Routines including log of drugs & temp of fridge.
- Routing out incoming faxes to appropriate departments
- Take patient calls
- Fax lab results, Physician Notifications, Hospital info, Enter Lab Note into Computer.
- Assisting Total Care Manager with incoming referral info, etc. from Intake & faxing verification receipt.
- Scan lab results to patient's charts.
- Log sbars dates signed and received in computer
- Fax medication lists to doctors for nurse as needed
- Log drugs into drug book for nurses to sign out
- Print off paperwork for resumptions and recerts
- Fax coordination notes
- Receive returned sbars and document physican signature and date. (if applicable)
- Print Home Health, Hospice, and In Home payroll for nurses and turn into Lesia when correct.
- Verify all patient admission forms and discharge paperwork are turned in and filled out correctly.
- Process episode detail report when patient is discharged.
- Process episode detail report when patient is recerted for Kennett, Sikeston and Dexter (if applicable)
- Run report on recerts and make sure nurses are turning in release of information forms.
- Pull, order and sticker Medical Supplies for all programs. Maintains & keeps stocked accurate system of clinical supplies (billable & non-billable) for IH, HH & Hospice.
