Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials in both healthcare and educational settings, focusing on pediatric populations within a K-12 school environment. The role spans the full school year from August 4th, 2025, to June 18th, 2026, supporting approximately 40 students in Washington, DC.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within school and healthcare environments
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) strongly preferred
- Knowledge of K-12 educational frameworks and relevant speech-language therapy strategies
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy services to a diverse student caseload
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to implement effective IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records per school and regulatory standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Employ evidence-based practices to address speech, language, fluency, and related communication disorders
Location: Washington, DC (onsite in a K-12 school setting)
Duration and Schedule:
- Contract position for the 2025-2026 school year (August 4th, 2025 June 18th, 2026)
- Full-time workload servicing approximately 40 students
