Schedule/Hours
- 7a-7p (12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend rotation
- 75% holiday coverage expected
- Schedule set in 6-week cycles
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year in pediatric hem/oncology acute care
- BLS required; PALS preferred
- APHON chemo certification required
- Strong pediatric assessment, central line management, and chemo administration skills
- Open to first-time travelers with a robust pediatric background
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for pediatric hem/oncology and adolescent medicine patients (average census: 14-32)
- Maintain patient safety, accurate assessment, and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Manage central lines and administer chemotherapy
- Collaborate closely with CNAs, resource nurses, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Float as needed between pediatric units (excluding Peds ED)
