A Tribal Hospital located near Billings, Montana, seeks a Pharmacist to support both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations. This contract opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a vital healthcare setting approximately one hour from Billings, serving a unique community.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and safely for inpatient and outpatient care
- Review prescriptions and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure best patient outcomes
- Utilize RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) for pharmacy management and documentation
- Manage medication inventory and storage requirements
- Provide patient counseling and education regarding medications
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Qualifications:
- Valid pharmacist license in any U.S. state
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations preferred
- Familiarity with RPMS software is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a healthcare team
- Commitment to cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care
Schedule:
- 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts during daytime hours
