About Us:
HH Red Stone is a growing property management firm overseeing multifamily and student housing communities across multiple states. We are seeking a certified Elevator Technician or Mechanic to join our in-house facilities team. This individual will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, inspection coordination, and repair of elevator systems across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on hydraulic and traction elevator systems
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair elevator malfunctions and service calls
  • Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and inspections in compliance with applicable codes
  • Ensure all elevators are compliant with local, state, and federal safety regulations
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for inspections, modernizations, or complex repairs when required
  • Respond to elevator-related emergencies across multiple properties (local travel required)
  • Provide expertise on elevator systems during property acquisitions or construction/renovation
  • Assist maintenance supervisors with cross-training on elevator safety and basic troubleshooting

Qualifications:

  • Valid Elevator Mechanic License/Certification in Maryland
  • 5+ years of experience servicing and maintaining commercial or residential elevator systems
  • Strong knowledge of elevator codes, safety standards, and inspection protocols
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Must be able to travel between properties as needed
  • Comfortable working independently and responding to emergency situations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-site experience across residential buildings
  • OSHA 10/30 Certification
  • Familiarity with elevator control software systems
