Job Title: Quality Engineer (Supplier)
Location: Ventura County, CA
Position Type: FTE/Permanent
Position Summary:
Job Description:
- Drive APQP activities at suppliers.
- Follow up with suppliers in part development in a timely manner.
- Evaluate PPAP documentation and align with Parker Quality requirements.
- Conduct onsite Supplier onloading. Process and Product audits at vendor ends.
- Analyze quality issues at supplier end, work on RCA and corrective actions closure.
- Constant follow up with suppliers to ensure they support FAI, PPAP, etc. in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of PPAP, Supplier Audit, 7QC Tool, 8D, SPC, Gauge R&R etc.
Education:
- Mechanical Engineering having 8+ years of experience.
