Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services for elementary students in a dynamic academic setting in Aurora, CO, supporting communication development and educational success. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to work onsite within the Denver area, specifically at Arapahoe Ridge Elementary, from ASAP through May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy interventions to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with educational teams to create individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in assessments and screenings as required
- Communicate effectively with families, educators, and support staff to foster student growth
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and standards for school-based speech pathology services
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Current Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification for school-based practice
- Open to Clinical Fellowship candidates; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite with flexibility in a school environment
