Position Summary
The Regulatory Senior Specialist serves as the primary liaison between Regulatory Affairs and Marketing, ensuring all consumer-facing communications are science-backed and regulatory-compliant. This role translates complex clinical and technical data into clear, compliant, and compelling language while safeguarding compliance across all marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Claims Review
- Develop science-backed, regulatory-approved claim language for product marketing, in alignment with FDA, FTC, and DSHEA regulations.
- Translate clinical and technical information into clear, compliant, consumer-friendly copy.
- Review, provide feedback, and approve:
- Advertisements (digital & print)
- Social media posts (including TikTok videos)
- Email campaigns
- Blog content
- Website and Amazon product pages
- Identify and resolve compliance blockers before content release.
Product Launch Support
- Provide insight into compliance risks and regulatory considerations for new product launches.
- Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing to create Regulatory Product Positioning (RPP) claim language.
- Ensure all claims are substantiated by credible scientific evidence and aligned with applicable regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the Regulatory voice in creative planning, ensuring innovation stays within compliant boundaries.
- Educate Marketing teams on claim substantiation, compliance limits, and regulatory trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Nutrition, Food Science, Biology, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in regulatory affairs or quality compliance within the dietary supplement, food, or natural products industry.
- In-depth knowledge of FDA, FTC, and DSHEA regulations for dietary supplements.
- Proven ability to interpret and translate clinical research into compliant marketing language.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- The company is headquartered in Los Angeles; this a remote role, but travel to Los Angeles may be required from time to time
