We are looking for an experienced Lead Accountant Management Specialist to join our team. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in managing customer accounts, ensuring efficient order processing, and driving customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire sales order process, including order receipt, invoicing, and reporting results.
• Provide direction and support to the global customer service team during the Customer Service Manager’s absence.
• Collaborate with Sales Support and Inside Sales teams to address customer needs.
• Identify opportunities for improving service, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure timely maintenance of sales and order mailboxes.
• Manage and prioritize pending and open orders within assigned territories to align with customer requirements.
• Coordinate with production schedulers to adjust order priorities while maintaining workflow consistency.
• Communicate proactively with customers to arrange early shipments and resolve deviations from original timelines.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and project managers to ensure timely execution of custom orders.
• Develop and document standard work instructions for individual customer accounts to streamline processes.
• Proficiency in SAP, JDE or similar ERP system
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suites and Salesforce Platform.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service and account management.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and support teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to ensure accurate and effective customer interactions.
• Ability to monitor and resolve customer service issues promptly.
• Experience in key account management and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and align processes with customer needs.
