Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or working towards completion
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations within educational or healthcare settings
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a wide range of communication challenges
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress, adapting strategies as needed
- Document therapy sessions, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
- Provide education and support to families and staff regarding communication development and strategies
