Employees benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that starts the first day following full-time hire, including company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees, as well as company-paid basic life insurance for employees and their families. A health savings account is supported by a monthly employer contribution, with the option to upgrade to a copay plan at a modest weekly cost. The organization rewards strong performance, with top performers having the opportunity to receive multiple raises in a year and access to discretionary bonuses when business results allow. Employees who remain beyond their initial 90 days can gain benefits valued at several thousand dollars per year, creating a compelling long-term value proposition.
Work Environment
The role is based in a warehouse environment within a medium-sized extrusion operation. The facility is somewhat climate controlled but can be cool during winter and hot during summer, so employees should be comfortable working in varying temperatures. The schedule follows extended shifts on a Monday–Thursday pattern, with both day and night shift options. Typical day shifts run Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Typical night shifts include a short Monday morning period from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for plant startup, followed by Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., with a shift differential for night work. The current schedule is somewhat fluid due to staffing needs, and employees have input on startup times, which may change based on business requirements. Operations typically run from Sunday night or Monday morning for startup through Thursday for shutdown, with the goal of maintaining a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule as staffing increases. The work involves regular use of extrusion lines, pelletizers, blenders, feeders, forklifts, and related production equipment. The dress code includes steel-toe shoes (provided by the contractor), clean jeans, and a t-shirt, with additional layers such as long sleeves, jackets, or hoodies allowed depending on temperature. Clothing must be free from rips, tears, holes, and offensive content. Additional personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, earbuds, and face coverings, is provided to support a safe working environment.
