We have the perfect role for you! \n\nJob Description:\n\n- Unit: OR RN Surgery\n- Travel Experience Required: No\n- Profession: Registered Nurse\n- Specialty: Operating Room\n- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)\n- Block Schedules: No\n- Years of Experience Required: 2 years (1.5 years is a Hardstop)\n- Charting System: Epic\n- Community Hospital Experience: Preferred\n \nCertifications:\n- Required: ACLS, BLS\n- Preferred Certifications: Vascular skills, Gynecology skills, Plastics skills, Neurology skills, and more!\n\nSkills:\n- Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical specialties including:\n - Vascular Surgery (e.g., Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Carotid Endarterectomy)\n - Gynecology (e.g., Abdominal Hysterectomy, Laparoscopic procedures)\n - Plastics (e.g., Abdominoplasty, Breast augmentation)\n - General Surgery (e.g., Appendectomy, Hernia repair)\n - Urology (e.g., Cystectomy, Nephrectomy)\n - Robotics (e.g., Da Vinci Xi Surgical System)\n- Emergency Management & Infection Control\n- Equipment handling skills including Cell saver, Electrosurgical units\n \nWork Environment:\n- Engage with a vibrant team in various operating room settings:\n - Ambulatory OR\n - General OR\n - Trauma\n\nPatient Care Focus:\n- Patient Ratios: 1:1\n- Age Groups: Adults\n- Interdisciplinary Support: Including interpretation services and Rapid Response Teams\n\nAdditional Information:\n- Post shift call required: 1900-2300, 1x/week, may exceed to meet unit needs.\n- Scheduling preferences can be considered but are not guaranteed.\n- Guaranteed Hours: The facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period.\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
