Job Responsibilities:
· Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees across multiple locations and job sites.
· Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with state and federal prevailing wage laws.
· Maintain accurate employee records, timesheets, and job cost allocations.
· Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and compliance issues.
· Collaborate with HR and project managers to ensure accurate job coding, union reporting, and labor compliance.
· Assist with payroll tax filings, audits, and year-end reporting.
· Support contract negotiation and management activities, ensuring payroll practices align with contractual requirements and compliance standards.
· Support process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
· Advanced Excel experience (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS)
· Experience within the construction industry and operating as a sole contributor
