Job Summary:
Apply quantitative analysis methods to support Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) program decision-making in area including logistics optimization, resource allocation, cost-benefit analysis, and operational effectiveness assessments.
Essential Duties:
- Develop mathematical models for logistics optimization
- Conduct cost benefit and cost-effectiveness analyses
- Perform Monte Carlo simulations and risk analyses
- Support Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) studies
- Develop operational availability and readiness models
- Analyst maintenance and supply optimization scenarios
- Support Program Management Reviews (PMRs) with quantitative analysis
Education:
- Master’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; Bachelor’s degree with significant experience acceptable
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations research for defense and/or maritime programs
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft SharePoint
- Proficiency in Operations Research Tools
- Experience with simulation modeling
- Knowledge of DoD/DHS acquisition and logistics processes
- Understanding of naval operational requirements and constraints
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Government customer and project team functional areas in support of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, as required by the contract
Salary: The projected salary range for this position is $110,000-130,000 and is based on experience and contractual requirements. However, this is not a guarantee of salary.
