What you will do:
We are seeking and Advanced Practice Provider to join our Ambulatory Infusion Centers. In this role, you will see a variety of patients requiring treatment for rare, chronic and autoimmune conditions. Travel required.
· Oversees the specialty care clinic and infusion center from a clinical standpoint, completing patient assessments, charting and independent billing. Supervises and participates in non-oncology infusions, managing all reactions.
· Collaborates with specialty pharmacy in completing clinical clearance on patients prior to the scheduling of treatment. Completes all final checks and positive identification of medications with administering nurse using positive identification prior to administration to assure use of correct ingredients, accurate calculations and precise measurements under appropriate conditions and procedures per the board of pharmacy.
· Acts as a resource to the registered nurses in the suite who are administering infusions.

Qualifications
Education Qualifications
· (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing, or
· Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program
Experience Qualifications
· 2+ years as a NP Preferred
· Infusion experience a plus
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency)
- Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency)
- Must have computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Required proficiency)
Licenses and Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio, and
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio, or
- Current Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
