Location: Lodi, CA
Pay: $18.50 - $20/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Monday - Friday 1:30PM - 10:00PM
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Helper to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in preparing metal components for production, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in all tasks. This is a full-time position with a consistent Monday-to-Friday schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Metal Preparation: Clean, cut, and shape metal components to meet production specifications.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate metalworking tools and machinery such as grinders, saws, and drills.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport metal materials to and from workstations.
- Quality Control: Inspect metal parts for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean and organized, including tool cleaning and waste disposal.
- Data Recording: Assist with production data entry and inventory tracking.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work with team members to meet production goals and resolve issues.
- Task Completion: Complete additional tasks as assigned by management efficiently and safely.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to operate basic metalworking tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Physical stamina and capability to handle heavy materials.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
