• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lobby, corridors, restrooms, pool, fitness center and elevators.
• Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floor.
• Dusts and polishes metalwork.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of back-of-house areas such as storage rooms, linen closets, and housekeeping supply areas.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at throughout shift to collect trash, soiled linen.
• Assist housekeeping team with stocking supplies, linens, and amenities.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for housekeeping services or additional amenities.
• Support maintenance team with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including parking lots, patio area with grills and walkways.
• Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Perform duties of room attendant when necessary.
• Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
