Job Description

This is a traveling spotter and helper role supporting TDR deployment teams working at large-scale logistics and sort facilities nationwide. Spotters are responsible for lift safety support — caution-taping active work areas and directing foot traffic away from zones where aerial work is in progress. You will travel with the team, ride in company vehicles during the project, and work a shift window of 7am to 9pm depending on site needs. This role requires your own vehicle to get to initial training, and a willingness to travel for the duration of each deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain caution-taped safety perimeters around active lift and aerial work zones
  • Direct foot traffic away from work areas to protect both site personnel and the public during lift operations
  • Assist the electrical team with general site support tasks as directed by the team lead
  • Travel with the deployment team to project sites across the country in a company vehicle
  • Complete required training before first deployment
  • Maintain alertness and situational awareness in active warehouse and sort center environments
  • Follow all safety requirements set by the company, the customer, and OSHA at every site
  • Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel throughout the workday

Required Qualifications

  • Reliable personal vehicle required to travel to initial training location
  • Willing and able to travel for the duration of deployment projects
  • Available to work within a 7am to 9pm shift window — specific hours assigned by site needs
  • Comfortable working in large, active warehouse and logistics facility environments
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow safety and site-access protocols consistently
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a construction, warehouse, or industrial site support role
  • Familiarity with basic jobsite safety practices and PPE requirements
  • Comfortable working around lift equipment and aerial work operations
  • Prior experience working in large-scale logistics or fulfillment facility environments

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay rate: $20 to $30 per hour based on experience
  • Food and per diem covered when traveling on the road
  • Company vehicle provided for transport during the project
