ATI has a current need for full-time Electrical Engineers to provide construction management services to support the multi-billion dollar construction of multiple new, secure buildings at Fort Meade, Maryland.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Review designs, submittals, construction drawings, construction specifications and resolve issues associated with electrical systems.
Provide troubleshooting recommendations to the client through reports with a clear statement of the problem, analysis and resolution to problem.
Provide comments citing specific deficiencies on technical submittals, construction plans, and specifications to include but not limited to design flaws, calculation errors, incorrect / missing procedures, and reference of correct information.
Provide review comments on contract submittals pertaining to all contract specification sections, to assure that they conform to the individual specification requirements, document review comments, and recommend government action.
Monitor the timeliness of all such submittal reviews to ensure their completion within the time frames required by the contracts involved.
Monitor the Contractors design, construction or service submittal log and advise the Government of late or overdue submittals.
Attend and participate in meetings such as preconstruction and pre-performance conferences, quality control coordination meetings, progress meetings, or other conferences and meetings held between the Governments representatives and design and construction Contractors.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of ten (10) years construction management experience, preferably with large-scale Government projects.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred. Candidates without an Electrical Engineering degree may be considered with relevant experience above and beyond the ten (10) year minimum.
Experience on US Army Corps of Engineers or other DoD projects is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
US citizenship and the ability to secure a base clearance in a timely manner is required.

Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000/year depending on degree and experience
Location: Fort Meade, MD
Working Hours: Normal Work Hours Monday Friday (anticipate 40 per week).
