Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full-cycle accounts payable process. This includes processing and reconciling vendor bills and statements, matching checks and ACH payment vouchers to invoices, and preparing physical checks for mailing. You will also maintain both digital and physical A/P documentation through accurate scanning and filing, and process weekly payroll for approximately 170–190 temporary and direct placement employees, along with general administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle accounts payable, including processing and reconciling vendor bills and statements.
- Match checks and ACH payment vouchers to invoices and prepare physical checks for mailing.
- Maintain digital and physical accounts payable documentation through accurate scanning and filing.
- Process weekly payroll for approximately 170–190 temporary and direct placement employees.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
Essential Skills
- 1–3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable including invoice processing, vendor statements, and payments.
- Experience in payroll processing or support, including timecards and validations.
- Proficiency in Excel, including basic formulas and data tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills across departments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience processing payroll for 100+ employees is a plus.
- ERP system experience such as Sage 100 or similar is advantageous.
- Experience with journal entries and general ledger reconciliations is beneficial.
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, are desirable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
