Job Description
The Logistics Clerk supports inbound and outbound transportation operations, specializing in TL (Truckload) and LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments. This role ensures accurate order allocation, routing, scheduling, tracking, and documentation compliance within Great Plains (GP) and customer portals. Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-TimeWhat You’ll Do: • Allocate and verify customer orders while maintaining accurate shipment records in the system (PRO#, Trailer#, BOL#, Ship Date, and Load#).
• Schedule TL and LTL pickups with carriers and submit routing requests through customer portals.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other required paperwork.
• Monitor shipment status, track arrivals, and follow up on any delays to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate daily shipment updates and coordinate with internal teams and carriers to ensure timely pickups. Schedule:Full-TimeMonday-Friday8:00am-4:30pmPay:$17hr What You Bring:What You’ll Bring:
