Community hospital looking to bring on Director ICU!
 
<ul>
<li>Reports to the CNO</li>
<li>Is an exempt position with 24/7 responsibility</li>
<li>Oversight of approximately 110 FTEs, Director, Clinical Supervisors, RNs, Patient Care Techs</li>
<li>Shares a Clinical Educator with the ED</li>
<li>Types of patients- Medical, Cardiac, Neuro.</li>
<li>Clinical skills needed- General ICU exp. required, preferred experienced in the categories listed above</li>
<li>Must have strong provider communication and relationship building skills</li>
<li>Multiple committees this person is on and chairs.</li>
<li>Must work well/ collaboratively with the hospital leadership, especially Nursing/Quality/Risk</li>
</ul>
 
 EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required, BSN preferred
Master's degree preferred
5+ years clinical experience in ICU as a Registered Nurse required
3+ years experience acute care nursing leadership in ICU/Critical Care required
 
 CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Current license to practice professional nursing (RN) in the State of California
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association
Specialty Certification preferred
