We are seeking a Planning Specialist II to join their planning team at their Saint Paul, MN headquarters. Job Description
The Planning Specialist II provides data and analytical support to the planning team, playing a key role in supply chain operations and vendor management. This position utilizes SAP and Excel to drive forecasting accuracy, identify supply risks, and support informed decision-making across the organization.
- Develop and maintain vendor forecasts using SAP and Excel
- Compile and analyze data to identify and quantify potential supply gaps
- Monitor open orders and proactively follow up on confirmations, changes, or delays
- Support resolution of supply constraints by coordinating across procurement, planning, and supplier partners
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support invoice analysis and resolution
- Collaborate daily with internal and external partners across a cross-functional team environment alongside management and 2–3 team members
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- 1–2 years of planning or procurement experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build and manage formulas, data sets, and reporting tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to analyze supply plans and clearly articulate gaps and recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Curiosity-driven mindset with a willingness to question results and ask questions to support continuous learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- APICS – CPIM certification
- Experience with SAP
- Experience in demand planning and/or supply planning
- Experience conducting ad hoc data analysis to support operational decision-making
