Job Description

Overview

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Employment will begin through an affiliated staffing agency, with the potential to transition to a direct Snap-on employee after successfully completing a probationary period.

Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with occasional Saturdays as needed.

At Snap-on Equipment, we deliver productivity solutions for the automotive industry. Our Conway facility plays a critical role in assembling and building high-quality automotive equipment for customers across the country.

Responsibilities

    \n
  • To assemble quality products in a safe, cost-effective manner.
  • \n

  • Understand and practice all applicable safety rules.
  • \n

  • Successfully complete training on how to operate equipment to do the designated job (hand tools, hoist, and power/air tools) safely.
  • \n

  • Produce quality products.
  • \n

  • Legibly complete proper documentation for the movement of material and labor performed.
  • \n

  • Utilize assembly notebooks as a reference for assembly processes with minimum training.
  • \n

  • Learn and successfully follow assembly processes and procedures with minimum training.
  • \n

  • Store parts in the proper location and monitor the accuracy of inventory.
  • \n

  • Keep a clean and organized work zone.
  • \n

  • Meet established standards of productivity.
  • \n

Qualifications

    \n
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • \n

  • Associate's degree in electronics and/or electronic experience a plus
  • \n

  • Knowledge of Conway Manufacturing Products.
  • \n

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
  • \n

  • Team player
  • \n

  • Ability to work flexible hours (i.e., overtime as required)
  • \n

  • Excellent attendance record
  • \n

  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • \n

  • Self starter

  • Ability to work in multiple assembly areas as required
