Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Elementary School
An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in an elementary school setting in San Jose, CA, focusing on students from PreK through 8th grade. This full-time contract position for the 2025-2026 school year involves supporting a diverse caseload across multiple sites, providing essential services to help students overe speech and language barriers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that address individual student goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Document student progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure effective outes.
- Provide training and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders.
- Valid California state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and families.
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 55 students across 2-3 sites.
