Job Description
Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Lafayette, Colorado.

Job Summary
- Perform duties as part of the surgical team to ensure safe and successful operative procedures.
- Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and report to Surgical Services management.
- Support system-wide surgical operations initiatives and actively participate in the surgical operations safety plan.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the operating room and surgical items meet sterilization criteria.
- Maintain the sterile field and ensure a safe environment.
- Recognize and address sharps and fire safety processes.
- Prepare the operating room and instruments for surgical procedures.
- Assist with sterile processing as needed.
- Support surgeons during procedures within the ORT scope of practice.
- Identify and respond to emergency situations appropriately.
- Assist with room turnover, cleaning, and preparation for subsequent procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician (ORT) program, or graduation from a non-accredited surgical tech program within the past six months, or two years of scrub tech experience in hospital/military surgical services within the last three years.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active National Certification as an ORT in Surgery or Certified Surgical Technologist.
