Responsibilities:
• Maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate entries and timely reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure financial statements are complete and accurate.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, analyzing variances and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Coordinate with auditors to facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate financial reviews.
• Manage corporate tax filings, including sales tax and corporate tax returns.
• Review and improve financial controls and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Support cost accounting activities and provide insights into manufacturing financial operations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic business planning.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial inquiries and provide actionable recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, sales tax, and tax return preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with general ledger and journal entry processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively across departments.
