Clinical Team Lead - Residential
- Salary Range: $33.34 - $40.01 per hour, based on relevant years of experience
- Location: Fort Collins, Colorado at our Garcia House
- Status: Full time, 40 hours per week
- Hours: Sunday-Wednesday 8:30am-7:00pm
Employees working at locations operating 24/7 earn a differential. Shift differentials are also available for evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
Role Overview
The Clinical Team Lead provides clinical leadership and coordination for the residential clinical team within a 24/7 treatment setting. This role focuses on supporting clinicians through workflow development, clinical consultation, and day-to-day coordination of care, while also providing direct clinical services to clients. The Clinical Team Lead serves as a key contributor to the interdisciplinary treatment team, partnering closely with operations, nursing, psychiatry, case management, and behavioral health technicians to ensure cohesive, effective, and client-centered care delivery. This position emphasizes clinical quality, consistency of practice, and continuous improvement of team processes, while fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth within the clinical team. Essential Duties:
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the residential clinical team, including consultation, guidance on complex cases, and support with clinical decision making.
- Support development, refinement, and implementation of clinical workflows to promote consistency, efficiency, and high-quality care delivery.
- Serve as liaison between clinician and interdisciplinary partners to support coordinated treatment planning and communication.
- Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary leadership team, contributing clinical perspective to program discussions, problem solving and improvement initiatives.
- Provide direct clinical services to clients, including assessments, treatment planning, treatment documentation, and therapeutic interventions as needed.
- Support onboarding and ongoing training of clinical staff, modeling best practices and reinforcing agency policies and procedures.
- Facilitate or support clinical team meetings, case consultations, and collaborative care discussions.
- Identify opportunities to improve clinical processes, documentation practices, and team workflows; share feedback and recommendations with program leadership.
- Support alignment of clinical practice with SummitStone policies, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture that promotes learning, accountability, and high quality client care.
Required:
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a residential or behavioral health treatment setting.
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical services in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Experience supporting or informally leading clinical teams, mentoring peers, or contributing to workflow or practice development.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Current professional license in appropriate discipline required – LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
- Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record required.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required.
Highly Desired:
- Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred.
