Key Responsibilities of the X-Ray Technician
As an X-Ray Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Use X-ray equipment to capture high-quality images, assisting physicians in diagnosing conditions.
Prepare Patients: Ensure patient comfort and provide clear instructions regarding imaging procedures.
Maintain Equipment: Operate and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure accurate results and functionality.
Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Document Procedures: Keep accurate and detailed records of imaging processes and patient data.
Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other team members to deliver the best patient care.
Provide Compassionate Care: Support patients during imaging procedures, alleviating anxiety and addressing concerns.
Qualifications Required:
To qualify for this role, you must have:
BLS Certification (required)
ARRT Certification (required)
MA License (required)
2+ years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
