Job requirements:

Motivated, outgoing and energetic with a professional demeanor.

Self starter.

Proficient at using multiple software tools.

Ability to build rapport using phone, email, SMS messaging.

Highly organized and detail oriented.

Ability to multi task.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Have problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to ever changing situations.

Willingness to learn.

Good math skills.

Decent typing skills.

Must have some dispatching, freight brokering, or over the road driving experience!!

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

Communicate with customers, quoting rates, and providing up to date information regarding loads.

Have the ability to build and organize loads, ensuring they are profitable as well as efficient.

Make loading and unloading arrangements with drivers and customers.

Enter orders into a database efficiently and accurately – attention to detail is crucial.

Manage freight on multiple websites.

Dispatch drivers and carriers daily by phone, satellite, and SMS messaging.

Be on call 24/7 on a rotating basis after being properly trained.

Expect to be on call 10-12 weeks per year and rotating holidays (2-3). Being on call comes with extra pay.

Salary starting at $52,000 DOE

This person must live in or near Billings, MT or be willing to relocate as this is an in-office position.
