Support students with disabilities in the classroom by serving as a Substitute Personal Care Assistant. This role involves working one-on-one to provide physical, behavioral, and academic support throughout the school day.
PCAs are vital in maintaining a safe and inclusive environment where students can fully participate in school life, even during staffing absences.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Prior experience in special education or personal care preferred

Ability to assist with lifting and personal hygiene tasks

Strong interpersonal and observational skills

Current PA clearances required
Responsibilities:

Follow individualized care and behavior support plans

Help students with physical needs including feeding, toileting, and transitions

Monitor classroom behavior and assist with de-escalation when necessary

Encourage participation and help reinforce academic content

Maintain detailed documentation of services provided

Collaborate with school staff to meet daily goals for the student
