Radiologic Technologist- Interventional
Overview of Position: Assists in interventional procedures in support of and by request of licensed physician.
Other procedures such as operating the C-arm , scrub in for angiogram, angioplasty, thrombectomy , hemodialysis and peritoneal catheters, vein mapping and accessory vein ligation. Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety. May provide clinical support in the department to include, but not limited to: patient care, maintaining accurate records, entering data into computer, and other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associates Degree in Science or successful completion of a formal educational program accepted by ARRT.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in general diagnostics , special procedures, or cardiac catherization preferred with demonstrated knowledge of sterile procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Basic computer knowledge; Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Radiation Safety procedures; Ability to problem solve; Ability to communicate effectively and exercise sound judgment.
Licensure: Current BLS certification, ARRT (R) Certification, State of OH License in Radiography
Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
