We are urgently seeking an Accounting Specialist with NetSuite experience in the North County area. This is a full-time hybrid position of 32 hours with one day remote and four days onsite. This individual should be a self-starter and proficient in accounts receivable tasks such as; managing a company's revenue cycle, ensuring timely payment of invoices and maintaining accurate records. This person will handle invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and other tasks related to accounts receivable.
DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
· Invoicing: Generating and distributing invoices to customers for goods or services. Computing charges and refunds, and preparing and sending invoices.
Accounts Payable: Reviewing bills for accuracy, collecting receipts, paying bills and reconciling accounts
· Collections: Following up on outstanding invoices, contacting customers for payment, and resolving payment discrepancies.
· Payment Processing: Obtains checks and other payments to apply to open invoices and processing through NetSuite.
· Account Reconciliation: Verifying that recorded payments match actual funds received.
· Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts and transactions.
· Credit Management: Assessing creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and managing credit terms for customers.
· Reporting: Generating reports on aging accounts, outstanding balances, and other relevant financial data.
· Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Must have a Bachelor in Accounting or related field and five years accounting experience.
