Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour shifts: Days (0700-1930) or Nights (1900-0730)
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
- No on-call requirements
- 75% holiday coverage expectation
- Schedule cycle: Every 6 weeks
Desired Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- Current RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, rhythm interpretation, ventilator management, titrating drips, and advanced cardiac support (IABP, Impella)
- Experience with post open heart, CRRT, and neuro-medical cases preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to complex CVICU and post-surgical patients
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage advanced hemodynamics
- Implement continuous monitoring and collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams
- Float to the critical care division or Intermediate Care as needed
- Maintain Emphasis on safety, stewardship, and a patient-centered approach
