Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary-level students in Minneapolis, MN. This opportunity begins in January and spans the remainder of the school year, covering two staff leaves. The role involves working on-site exclusively and serving a caseload split between two elementary schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to an elementary school caseload.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy to support student communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to optimize student progress.
- Manage documentation and progress reporting in accordance with state and school guidelines.
- Adapt therapy approaches to address diverse pediatric speech and language disorders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working in pediatric and school settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively across two school locations.
