Cooking: Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to meet quality standards.
Supervision: Delegate tasks, oversee stations, and train new staff.
Menu Planning: Helping the Executive Chef to create new menu ideas for the restaurant.
Kitchen Operations: Manage daily operations, maintain equipment, and clean stations.
Requirements:
Communication: Communicate with the kitchen staff. Leadership: Lead and direct the kitchen staff with confidence. Problem-Solving: Solve problems and remain calm under pressure. Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to details. Cooking Skills: Have imaginative cooking skills and knowledge of different cuisines.
Education:
A Sous Chef may have formal culinary training or have honed their skills through hands-on experience in the kitchen. Additionally, they should have club experience and expertise in meeting members' needs.
