Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Schedule: Monday – Friday

• Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5 × 7-hour shifts)

• Weekly Hours: 35 hours

• Pay Rate:

  • Local: $65/hour

  • Traveler: $78/hour

Job Summary

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) to support its Radiology Diagnostic Department. This role involves performing general ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and hospital standards. The assignment is a backfill opportunity with anticipated extension based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic ultrasound procedures in an acute-care hospital setting

• Ensure accurate image acquisition, documentation, and adherence to clinical protocols

• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support patient care

• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of general registered ultrasound experience

Certifications

• RDMS (ARDMS required)

• BLS preferred

Education

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program
