Position Summary
We are searching for a candidate with metal fabrication and TIG welding experience to learn the skill of vibratory feeder bowl manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for building, TIG welding, and troubleshooting basic vibratory feeder bowls prior to final assembly. You will also complete the finish welding and cosmetics of bowls tooled by a journeyman.
Key Responsibilities
- Use engineering drawings to build and weld automated equipment
- Responsibilities include TIG welding, bending, shearing, and forming a variety of metals from mild steel to aluminum and stainless steel
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Must pass an in-house weld test
- Good mechanical ability and knowledge to operate standard welding equipment
- Self-starter with critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude, initiative, and dependable, have safe working habits
- Basic measurement and math skills
- Interest in working as part of a small and growing company
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $25.00 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
