Position: Cardiac Surgery RN – Pre-Surgical Visit Nurse\nLocation: Seattle, WA\n\nShift:\n\nDay shift: 5×8 hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)\n\nMonday–Friday\n\nNo nights, no weekends, no call\n\nContract:\n\n13-week Temp-to-Hire (expected to convert to permanent if offered)\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nRequirements:\n\nActive WA RN license required at submission (no pending licenses)\n\nMinimum 1 year RN experience (cardiac clinic or inpatient preferred)\n\nBLS required\n\nEPIC experience required\n\nReliable transportation required\n\nLocal and travel candidates accepted (non-locals must agree to commute or relocate)\n\nRole Details:\n\nPre-surgical patient education and coordination\n\nInterpret labs, perform 12-lead EKGs, MRSA swabs, and discharge planning\n\nFrequent communication with surgeons and schedulers\n\nPatient population includes CAD, valve disease, AFib, HFrEF, HCM\n\nFacility:\n\nOutpatient Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic\n\nCharting: EPIC
