Location: Rapid City, SD

Address: 4825 Jericho Way, Rapid City, SD 57702, USA

Shift: 12 Hours - Day Shifts

Job Schedule: Full time

Weekly Hours: 40.00

Salary Range: $26.50 - $34.00

Pay Info: $10,000 sign-on bonus!

Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles tailored to the clinical needs of residents.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Contribute to resident assessments and document care outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team.
  • Communicate effectively while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Provide counseling to residents and their families on care plans.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident care.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; an Associate degree is preferred.
  • IV therapy/management skills if required, with completion of an approved program.
  • A minimum of 400 hours of clinical experience or prior LPN experience at another facility.
  • An unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and competency training.
