Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to support elementary and middle school students in a school setting. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week from January through June, providing a focused and impactful role working with young learners across two campuses in Beaufort.
Location: Bluffton, SC (serving two nearby campuses in Beaufort)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students within elementary and middle school grades.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-based interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure.
- Experience working in school settings, ideally with both elementary and middle school age groups.
- Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and educational frameworks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and prioritize services for diverse student needs.
